-Description-
We are proud of what we do here. There are many "tuners" out there that give good ones like us a bad rep. You can be assured that you are getting the best of the best here at Chaos Calibrations, a dyno will prove it. Not only do we target increased drivability and power, but much smoother power delivery as well. We have spent countless hours dialing in calibrations for both Naturally aspirated and forced induction applications. You can be rest assured when you purchase your MS43 ECU tune you will be receiving the best on the market and best support bar none.

We are the ONLY tuning company in the world also offering tuning via mobile devices with all our in own in house built software and apps!

This tune package is for those who have built engines (this includes high compression, etc) and/or are using nitrous and require tuning.
If you have a naturally aspirated built engine (no supercharger/turbocharger) and are not using nitrous, you'll still purchase this tune.
If you have a stock naturally aspirated engine engine (no supercharger/turbocharger) and using nitrous, you'll still purchase this tune.

-What's the process?-
You are purchasing our remote tuning service. After purchasing your tune, you will receive an email with our software download and instructions to begin the tuning process. It is a very straight forward process. You will need a Windows laptop or Android Device and K+DCAN OBD2 Cable.
You'll essentially check for any codes the car may have and save them. Then pull a backup of the ECU as it currently sits and send it in to us. We'll then build your tune, and send it over to you for uploading. It's easy as that!

FEATURES(explained):


REV LIMITER STYLE (NEW):

  • Here we can adjust how your rev limiter sounds. Stock, will keep the standard limiter design and a sound, typically a softer and less aggressive rev limiter with slower bounce. Hard limiter will cut at the limiter a bit harder and bounce quicker. Aggressive Hard Limiter is for cars with catless exhaust, this implements ignition cut on top with other adjustments that lead to a very aggressive, quick, and satisfying rev limiter that can emit flames and pops from the exhaust.

THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT:

  • OEM+ enhances the stock pedal feel be a bit more lively.
  • Linear redesigns the pedal feel to be a bit more like a traditional cable throttle. May not feel as aggressive or peppy but the entire pedal travel will feel useful.
  • Aggressive designs the pedal feel in such a way where it feels very snappy and sharp compared to stock.
THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT:
  • We target a lower coolant temperature (based on your selected option) to open the stock E-Thermostat sooner and run the engine at cooler temperatures.
INCREASE IDLE RPM:
  • Increasing idle rpm can be useful for those that have lightweight flywheels and/or stiffer engine/transmission mounts as it can remove the vibration caused by these modification.
RACE CAM IDLE (Choppy Idle):
  • This feature makes your idle lumpy and choppy to sound like it has big cams. Also known as "Ghost Cam."
    Race Cam Idle Modification inherently creates rough idle. This sound affect, some enjoy, although most do not enjoy the rough idle. For this, we provide to separate tunes, one with the function on, and one with it off. Switching between the two will often require adaptations reset. This can easily be done within our software.

POPS AND BANGS/FLAMES/OVERRUN FUEL CUTOFF:

  • This feature enables pops and bangs upon lift off of the throttle. While decelerating, pops and bangs will be omitted from the exhaust. You can select varying ways of enabling this function as well as varying aggressions, some of which can be tailored to a very mild OEM spec setting or, a crazy setting with flames and loud gunshot like bangs. We know it may seem a little complicated on how you would like to have your pops active, so, we'll explain. Check out this Pop and Bang Toggle Styles to read details on the options/styles.

LAUNCH CONTROL:

  • This feature will enabled a 2-Step Launch Control at your desired RPM. Based on community efforts of the MS4x Dev team, this feature is a free add-on. This will REQUIRE us to update your DME and possibly delete EWS. We will naturally use an Ignition Cut Method which is what you often see on social media of bangs/flames with 2-Step. This requires catless exhaust system and is NOT legal in any state/province/country that requires emissions testing etc. This is a MOTORSPORT FEATURE ONLY!!
    A softer Fuel Cut Version is also available upon request.

Dyno tuning is available, please contact us if you wish to have your car dyno tuned.
All tunes are allowed up to 3 customer requested revisions up to 14 days after receiving your first tune, at no extra cost.


Features like EWS Delete, Launch Control, Ignition Cut Rev Limiter, etc, are also available at no extra cost. These features have been implemented by developers in the MS4X Dev Team and tested by members and enthusiasts from Chaos Calibrations amongst others in the community, for this reason, these features are free with our performance tunes.
Please keep in mind, some of these features can be dangerous to the engine and parts. They are strictly intended for OFF ROAD, COMPETITION USE ONLY. If your car is road legal and must abide by your local, state, federal laws, please refrain from requesting these options.

If requested by the customer, Rear O2 and SAP "Bypasses" are intended to notify the ECU of no longer installed hardware which is already removed by the customer. This is NOT used to pass emissions testing, bypass emission equipment, manipulate emission equipment, etc. It is the customer's responsibility to abide by your applicable local, state, and/or federal laws.
