At an affordable price, our cables can reliably and quickly flash DMEs and modules in which cheap ebay/amazon cables can not. This is the cable required to communicate to the standard BMW OBD Interface with your laptop (more importantly, with our tuning services) in your E38, E39, E46, E6x, E83, E85, E9x, etc.

Specifically with DMEs like MS45, MSS6x, MSS70, MSD8x, etc., which require longer flashing times, complex protocols, and faster baud rates, we saw about an 8% failure rate with cheap cables that would cause a tune upload to fail, getting the DME stuck in diagnostic mode and sometimes, bricking the DME due to a bug in the stock firmware. We test all our cables in house on a bench to confirm proper communication, switch functionality, download and upload times (most importantly, reliable uploading).

With our latest tuning software version (CCFlasher Suite) and our Chaos K+DCAN Cable, we were able to match MS45 FULL BINARY upload times just like other "Pro" and "Expert" cables of ~11 minutes and PARTIAL BINARIES in under 1 minute! FULL BINARY Downloads in just about 9 minutes.

All our baseline testing is conducted with our tuning/flash software using MS45 DME as the standard. Our cables have also been tested and proven to reliably flash MSS6x DMEs which can be found in E9x M3s and E60 M5s and will function with all support similar DMEs as mentioned above.
Please understand the nature of flashing and communicating with DMEs/Modules. We are not responsible for damaged DMEs/Modules. The process includes many variables that can be a result of user errors, anti virus software, poorly configured laptops, etc.
